Now, it's time for the heavy equipment. A cement pump was brought in from Traverse City which would allow concrete to be poured from over 100 feet from the house. This would allow pumping to all corners of the house and many stories in the air, if needed. As you can see, the front wall of the house is braced to the max since the angles of the wall facing the lake are unique and the wall itself will contain 12 windows when completed. So, maximum strength of the concrete and rebar is important to withstand the winds that will eventually blow.
