The house is coming along, slow but progress is being made. Here, you can see some of the trim that is being installed along with some of the lighting. The house is really coming together nicely. It shouldn't be long now before it will be ready to move into.

Here is the start of the wood floor being laid. This is the kitchen/dining area. As you can see, this is a multi-colored floor with each board being different from all others. It makes for a gorgeous floor.

How about this for a sunrise. These are the clouds that will probably dump some snow on northern lower Michigan.

Here are some pictures of the newly installed slate floor in the family room. It is still uncleaned and real dusty, but at least you can get an idea of all the colors that are there. There are very few tiles that are alike.

The house is finally painted inside and here are a couple of views of rooms.

The mechanical room is "chock full" of things taken from the family room and stored here while waiting to be installed.

The family room is cleaned and ready for the slate installation to begin.

A door and trim is all that is needed in this bedroom, just like the adjoining bathroom.
