This following pictures show the progress achieved in 5 weeks (6/24/07) since we broke ground May 21, 2007. That would be mostly 5 to 6 day weeks. The month of July should be exciting!

As the house rises, the view becomes even more amazing. Below is the view out of the sliding glass door frame in the master bedroom, leading to the future deck.

The second level walls are added along with constant bracing to secure the walls from the stronger winds and to allow an uneventful concrete pour when ready.

The 7 posts for the deck on the second level are set, plumbed, and braced, ready for the beam and joists to be added.

The concrete is poured into the holes for the deck posts.

The holes for the deck posts are dug to allow the concrete to set a few days before setting the posts.

As the floor gets completed, the stairs are a necessity to minimize the use of ladders. So they are added.
